Upon returning to Chennai,
the iconic actor briefly addressed the media, conveying his belief in India's
victory in the upcoming World Cup. He shared, "The tension lasted for
about one and a half hours, but I am absolutely certain that the World Cup is
ours—100 percent. Mohammad Shami is undoubtedly the key factor."
Reflecting on the match,
India chose to bat first and posted an impressive total of 397/4 in their
allotted 50 overs. Skipper Rohit Sharma, contributing 47 runs off 29 balls with
four boundaries and four sixes, alongside Shubman Gill, who scored 80 runs in
66 balls with eight fours and three sixes, provided a solid 71-run opening
